Project Description

Somnia aims to integrate a prototype that provides a unique experience inspired by previously existing adventure game titles through live-stream related mechanics.
These systems include a viewer count that changes depending on the player’s in-game actions, a chat that reacts to the player’s choices, and it will be a place where the player can have a live-streaming identity attached to a virtual world.
Somnia's goal is to reach a niche audience that is familiar with content creation and empower them in interactive and moral ways. The result of the innovation is to prove that the mechanic is fun and meaningful to the niche audience, live streamers, and fans of adventure games.

Game Design Document
This game design document encapsulates all research and pre-production related to the full game, Somnia. This is a living document, and is constantly being iterated.

Topino 3D Character Sculpt
Topino is a character demo sculpted and posed in ZBrush. There is a low-poly version with UV's in progress.

November Mechanic Integration
The UI designs were brought into Unreal Engine and created as Widget Blueprints. As of November 2025, these UI elements are created through different in-game events, and "chatters" are created by the Chat Manager to post chats.

The Chamber 3D Level
The Chamber is a 3D environment developed using a multitude of software and integrated using Unreal Engine.

UI Designs
These UI designs were created using Adobe Illustrator. The current assets were made as placeholders for the most crucial parts of the innovation, such as the Viewer Count, the Chat Boc, and the Main Menu.
